I am directed by the Postmaster General to refer
to your letter of the 28th March on the subject of the
rates to be charged for wireless telegrams between
Hong Kong and the Philippines, and to say, for the
information of the Secretary of State, that he agrees
with the view expressed in the second paragraph of that
letter. He would suggest that the Gove mor might be
informed that His Majesty's Government would prefer
to await the report of the Imperial Wireless and Cable
Conference before advising on this question.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
Böduch.
The Under Secretary of State,
COLONIAL OFFICE.
